Meet The Authors
We are Trey Shelton and Joseph Teipel — founders and owners of S&T Construction. We’ve known each other our entire lives, with a long history of working side by side, supporting each other, and now, building something lasting together.
We founded S&T Construction in January 2021 with a simple goal: to build beautiful, high-quality homes while keeping communication and integrity at the heart of every project.
With backgrounds spanning construction management, logistics, and owner representation, we started S&T to create a different kind of building experience — one grounded in transparency, collaboration, and relationships that last well beyond move-in day.

What We Stand For
Our values are simple — but they guide every decision, every project, and every conversation.
Communication
From the first meeting to final walkthrough, we commit to proactive, honest communication with our clients, our subcontractors, and our team.
Integrity
We know perfection isn’t realistic — but honesty always is. Integrity means doing what’s right, owning challenges, and building trust at every stage.
Craftsmanship
Quality is never an afterthought. Every detail matters — because lasting work is the true measure of success.
Community
We’re proud to live and build locally. Our work isn’t just about homes — it’s about helping our neighbors and contributing to the future of our mountain towns.
