This unique project entailed designing and building a first-floor addition onto an 1880s brick home with a second-story ADU apartment. The addition adds a 3/4 bath, laundry closet, and additional living space to the home. The ADU has a separate exterior entrance custom metal staircase leading up to a great studio living space with a modern bathroom including a curbless walk-in shower.
